I formed & led the "Back Bay Stompers" in 1975 when I moved to Biloxi Miss,the band was patterned after the Village Stompers out of New York who were very popular in the late 1960's.In addition to the song "Washington Square",which they popularized,they digressed from the normal dixieland standards and adapted many of the popular folk hits of the 60's to a dixieland style ie:"Green Green", "If I had a Hammer" etc.

The "Back Bay Stompers" played in & around Biloxi from 1975 until 1977.
